Check your Ferrous Iron (+2) with Confidence using our SenSafe® Ida's Iron Check. Great for extremely low detection of Iron (as low as 0.005 ppm).

Featuring our patented Aperture Technology, make sure your Iron levels are where you want them to be. Contains 30 individually wrapped tests in our new environmentally friendly Pocket-Pack!

- Safe and non Hazardous
- Low detection levels
- Two different ranges within one test - choose low or high at the time of testing!

If low range detection of Fe+2 is what you need, this is the answer. Ida’s Iron Check is designed to specifically react with Iron, without interference from other heavy metals that may be present. Say goodbye to dangerous, time-consuming wet-chemical kits that require extensive training and cost. This patented test is a simple dip-and-read test procedure that requires no technical training. Additionally, since there is no glass required to run the test, and since the chemical concentration is extremely low, the test is ideal for use in controlled areas.

Patented technology allows for a detection sensitivity of 0.005 ppm (mg/L) or 5 ppb (ug/L) on the Iron Check test strip. This test promises to be an attractive alternative to wet chemical iron tests for several reasons: There are no hazardous chemicals to mix (an MSDS is not required); Quick results are obtained in seconds; And, best of all, the Iron Test Strips are safe and easy to use for fast accurate results within the ranges of 0.005 to 50 ppm (mg/L), which permits the measurement of typical iron levels found in well, tap, and stream water.

Run a before and after treatment test of this wide range and simple test!

For best Accuracy use with a fresh drawn sample before Ferrous Iron +2 (if present) oxidizes to Ferric Iron +3 in contact with oxygen in air.
